
This introductory ice climbing clinic is designed specifically for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community and is taught using American Sign Language (ASL). Participants will learn the basics of ice climbing, including equipment use, movement on ice, and essential safety skills in a supportive and accessible environment. No prior climbing experience is necessary—just bring a sense of adventure and get ready to experience the excitement of ice climbing!
To see all of the sessions, check out our class schedule found here. Boots, crampons and tools are provided for the class. If you plan on climbing outside of your class, you will need to pay the demo fee when you register. Class is limited to 9 participants and with two routes selected there is sure to be plenty of climb time. Space is limited for this course.
