Anna Marie discovered climbing in college and was quickly drawn to the cliffs on North Carolina, where her passion for the sport really took root. That spark grew into a career in guiding, and today she works full time with Pisgah Climbing School in Western North Carolina. She guides year-round on both rock and ice, helping new climbers get started and supporting experienced climbers as they refine their skills. Anna Marie holds AMGA Multi-Pitch Instructor (MPI), Single Pitch Instructor (SPI), Ice Instructor Course Grad, Alpine Snow and Glacier Course Grad and Climbing Wall Instructor–Lead certifications, and is a Wilderness First Responder. She also provides AMGA CWI and SPI programs. When she is not climbing, you can find her mountain biking, trail running, or hanging out in a local coffee shop!
