With warm temperatures and rain falling throughout the Midwest thankfully Munising has been spared and currently the spring climbing conditions are excellent! This weekend Michigan Ice Fest guides were spread throughout the park and have found formations are actually growing! Most climbs on the mainland are in excellent condition with climbers finding soft sticks and comfortable climbing conditions.

Grand Island is still accessible via lake ice from the Public Access over to the island. East Channel climbs are very sun baked- want to hit the island one last time? Stick to the West Shore and check out the top outs as some of them are getting baked as well.

The Michigan Ice Fest Guide Service and the gear renatl will still be available through the month of March and into April as long as the conditions hold. You can book your adventure at www.michiganicefest.com
