As many of you know the Midwest was socked with a snowstorm over the weekend and our staff up in the Keweenaw had snow fall amounts “one dog deep”!  With the snow, cold temperatures have also arrived and many seeps are now forming and are becoming climbable.

While the temps have dropped, and we have seen significant growth in certain climbs, please use patience on climbing any pillars at Pictured Rocks as these formations are extremely delicate and need a few more weeks to solidify.  A little patience early season will pay dividends latter on.  Let then go, let them grow!
