Looks like Munising locals John and Angela Miller scored the seasons first ascent of the Dryer Hose.  Brutally cold temperatures over night have done wonders for the growth of the parks pillars!

Want some more good news?  Looks like the lake is starting to build ice out towards the East Channel climbs on Grand Island.  A couple more weeks of these temps would almost assure us getting across to the island this season.  Lets keep our fingers crossed!
