Bio

Jon lives in Madison WI with his wife and three children: two cats named Dan and Baby Dan respectively, and Archie our old, partially blind dog from Mexico that can no longer smell a treat in front of his nose.  He is the local Black Diamond sales rep and can’t think of any better way to spend his time than climbing rocks and frozen water, two meaningless and archaic activities that serve no greater purpose.  That being said, researchers in positive psychology study empirical factors that lead to life satisfaction, full engagement in activities, making a fuller contribution by utilizing one’s personal strengths according to Wikipedia.  And since the Internet stresses, full engagement in activities, there is no better activity than climbing for one to become satisfied.
