Remember those brutal conditions last year?  We do too.  White out conditions, -20 degree wind chills, and wishing that shuttle bus makes it back to the pick up before things get desperate.  Not to worry this year!  Our Gold Level Sponsor Mountain Hardwear is sending 2 of their Space Stations for us to use as warming huts at the Sand Point Parking Lot and on H58 where folks can access the backcountry.  You have seen them at Everest Basecamp and now we are very fortunate to offer this service to our participants at the Michigan Ice Fest!
