Last year one of the more popular portions of Ice Fest was our Backcountry Adventures. This year we are offering more shuttles to help folks get deeper into the backcountry and Mountain Hardwear is going to help!  Once again Mountain Hardwear will be providing a basecamp warming hut for those who are waiting for the shuttle! The warming station will be hosted in the Mountain Hardwear Space Station.  The alpine expedition tent offers a roomy 284 sq. ft. of refuge.  Attendees can escape the elements and enjoy complementary beverages and snacks.

The hub of any basecamp on alpine and high-altitude expeditions. This iconic dome tent provides standing room for 20+ persons, making it an ideal dining hall, communications center, or warming center at the Michigan Ice Fest!  The domed shape minimizes wind load and the heavy gauge material and poles provide strength and durability.
