Based on participant evaluations Jeff was one of our highest rated guides! Fresh off of guiding Ama Dablam, we are very excited to have Jeff joining the Michigan Ice Fest team again this year!
A professional guide since 2002, Jeff Witt has been creating amazing experiences around the world, working with local guides and hand tailoring each adventure for the greatest reward. From the Grand Teton to Mount Everest, his goal is to provide a unique and personal experience for every trip. This site is dedicated to creating custom trips for those wanting to get off the beaten path, away from the crowds, and into the adventure of a lifetime. Jeff’s resume includes being a professional guide for Exum Mountain Guides and San Juan Mountain Guides, a grassroots athlete for Adidas and is an IFMGA Licensed Mountain Guide. Jeff has climbed and guided mountains around the world, including Mt Everest, Denali, Cerro Aconcagua, Kilimanjaro. He has also toured much of the Americas and Europe by motorcycle, visiting over 30 countries along the way. Some of his proudest personal accomplishments include climbing Denali’s Cassin Ridge, the Southwest Pillar of Fitzroy, the Eiger North Face in winter conditions, and summiting Mount Everest.
Jeff received his IFMGA license in 2016, and looks forward to expanding his guiding repertoire both in the Tetons as a ski mountaineering guide, and around the world. Jeff is also an avid adventure motorcyclist, having ridden his motorcycle as far north as Prudhoe Bay and as far south as the Panama Canal. He personal goals include completing the seven summits (only three to go!), and circumnavigating the globe by motorcycle.
Jeff is also owner and guide at High Peak Adventures. “It is our mission to take your dream adventure, organize it and bring it to success. We specialize in organizing and leading climbs, treks and motorcycle tours throughout the United States and around the world. There is no summit too high, no destination too remote, no adventure too far from reach”.
