While regionally there has been significant warn ups and much rain, the U.P. has been spared and our ice conditions are holding their own. This coming weekend should be stellar for those wishing to get out a few more times.  As usual, all seeps are in excellent conditions and most pillars are still standing.  The exception would be Giddy Up which has been blown out for over a week now.

Mild daytime temperatures are here and it is one of our favorite times to climb.  Soft ice, no jacket, and no frozen toes! Look for a more detailed backcountry report on Sunday night.
