If you have signed up for the Michigan Ice Fest- Congratulations, you will experience the best ice conditions in decades!  Matt from the Michigan Ice Fest staff, bucked up and packed in the approach to HMR and found stellar conditions with loads of shelf ice.  Bitter cold temps this week will ensure  the ice is going nowhere anytime soon.  Lake ice over to Grand Island is in and all climbs are climbable.  We will have announcements at the fest about any snowmobile shuttles.  See you all very soon!
