We headed out for Munising this morning with temperatures at 40 degrees and feeling like spring conditions.  The waterfalls are wet….very wet but the seeps were hanging right in there.  Thankfully the weather is suppose to change back next week to more normal temps of highs in the twenty’s.

I was fortunate to go out today with one of the guys that introduced me to ice climbing some 24 years ago- John Rebers.  John is a professor at NMU and its refreshing to see that he is still climbing on the same vintage gear that he was using back on my first day!
