Over the last few months we have been thinking a lot about our Ice Fest family and we hope everyone is safe, healthy and persevering during this pandemic. With this summer heat and concerns over COVID-19 we sure are longing for cold winter nights and climbing ice!
The Michigan Ice Fest staff are continuing to monitor all developments regarding the COVID-19 pandemic and our top priority remains the health and well-being of all Ice Fest family including participants, staff, volunteers and Munising community members.
We are moving forward with planning for our 30th Anniversary the weekend of February 10th-14th 2021, while also remaining flexible to make any necessary changes as more information becomes available. Many of you have been asking when registration will open and we feel that it would be prudent to wait until November 1st to begin registration.
If at some point it becomes apparent that we will have to cancel the fest, all registered participants will have the choice to receive a full refund or move their registration forward to the 2022 Michigan Ice Fest.
We will continue to follow guidance from local and state public health and safety officials to ensure a safe Ice Fest experience for everyone involved. For up to date information regarding the festival please monitor our web, facebook and Instagram pages.
